Eteros Launches The New Mobius M9 Sorter, Boasting Industry-leading Technology to Speed Sorting and Precise Sizing

LAS VEGAS–() – Canadian-based Eteros technologies, Owner of Mobius Trimmer, the No. 1 brand for high quality cannabis and hemp processing equipment, today unveiled its latest technological achievement, the M9 sorter, with an industry leading combination of features to ensure quick sorting and precise product sizing. The launch was announced at the company’s “Demo in the Desert” event at Eteros’ recently opened Las Vegas facility, which will serve as the final assembly facility for the new product in the US cannabis market.

“Cannabis growers and processors are constantly struggling to increase yields, reduce losses and maintain high quality during the trimming process,” said Aaron McKellar, CEO of Mobius Trimmer. “When sorting can process more products in less time while increasing sizing accuracy, much of the battle is won. The M9 Sorter was designed with this in mind and has a long list of functions to get there. ”

The features of the M9 include:

  • An industry leading 9 sorting belts

  • An industry leading 78 inch sorting zone for quick and precise product sorting

  • A longer sort table that gives more accurate results

  • Each sorting slot is longer, which gives more options for accurate sorting, and each sorting area is fully adjustable

  • All stainless steel construction

  • Sanitary construction for GMP workflows

  • Adjustable infeed funnel: tool-free adjustment and removal for loading or strip infeed

  • Reversible table for operation in left or right output configuration

  • Easy access for cleaning through security-locked end panels and rear door

  • 7 inch HMI color controller

  • Precise evaluations up to 200 kg / hour

As with all Mobius products, the Mobius M9 also offers quick and tool-free removal of all straps and rollers for easy and safe cleaning. The new product is announced during a period of strong growth for Eteros following the acquisition of California-based Triminator, a pioneer in harvesting equipment for professional cannabis and hemp growers, and the company’s Las Vegas office opening earlier this year.

“We’re so encouraged by the welcome we’ve had in Las Vegas since our facility opened earlier this year,” said McKellar. “The ability to serve US customers from our new home base in the desert is a dream come true. We look forward to the opportunity to serve more of the US community. ”

The Mobius and Triminator product lines together form the world’s largest manufacturer of equipment for harvesting and processing cannabis and hemp. Eteros Technologies, the parent company of the Mobius product line, plans to keep Triminator employees and executives, and the company said both brands will continue to operate independently. Both will work in synergy with more engineering, sales, training and support resources to offer customers the most comprehensive suite of processing solutions on the market. The acquisition also means that the entire Mobius line of products designed and built in Canada and the full line of Triminator products built in the US will be in stock and available throughout North America.
