The Louisiana Department of Health reopened oyster beds in areas 3-25 from sunrise on Sunday, June 20, 2021. Areas 1 and 2 will remain closed due to the effects of Tropical Storm Claudette.

Closed shellfish growing areas will remain so until state health officials determine that the water is clear and within the approved area criteria set by the National Shellfish Sanitation Program.
