Biden turns to Obama to help boost health care enrollment

The report says 11.3 million people are covered through the Health Act marketplaces that offer subsidized private plans. Another 14.8 million will be covered by expanded Medicaid, the report adds. All but a dozen states have accepted the Medicaid extension of the law, which primarily benefits working, low-income adults. And 1 million are covered by so-called basic health plans, a law-created option that is offered in a limited number of states.
